Terms of Service

Last updated:

These terms are an agreement between you and SafePrint, run by Aidin Bazarchi (“SafePrint”, “we”, “us”), for the SafePrint app (the “App”) and the website safeprint.app (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What SafePrint does

SafePrint lets you send documents to a copy center for printing. The App encrypts your documents on your phone, and only the copy center's printing device can decrypt them, at the moment of printing. Copy centers use the same App in shop mode to receive and print orders.

Copy centers are independent businesses. They are not part of SafePrint, and SafePrint is not a party to the sale of prints between you and the copy center.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough under the law where you live to agree to these terms. If you register a copy center, you must be authorized to act for that business.

3. Your account and your release code

The App creates an anonymous account on your phone. If you lose the phone or delete the App, you can lose access to your orders, and we may not be able to restore them. Keep your 6-digit release code to yourself: anyone who has it can release your order at that copy center.

4. Orders, prices and payment

  • Each copy center sets its own prices. The App shows an estimate before you order, and our servers calculate the final price from the copy center's prices at the time of the order.
  • You pay the copy center directly, at the counter. SafePrint does not take payments today and charges customers nothing.
  • Print quality, paper, opening hours, handing over your prints and refunds are the copy center's responsibility. Raise any problem with them first; you can also tell us.
  • You can cancel an order in the App until it has printed. Orders that are not printed within 72 hours expire and their files are deleted.

5. Copy centers

If you use shop mode, you also agree to the following:

  • The details you give (name, address, location, hours, prices, copiers) are true and kept up to date. We review every copy center before customers can see it, and changes to the name, address or location are reviewed again.
  • You print orders only as the customer chose: with their code, or by staff if they allowed it, and you hand the prints only to that customer.
  • You don't try to capture, copy, keep or view customers' documents, for example by intercepting data sent to the copier, or keeping extra copies of the prints.
  • You keep the shop device secure. Its encryption key stays on that device; if it is lost, orders already waiting may not be printable.
  • SafePrint is free for copy centers during the launch. We will give at least 30 days' notice in the App before introducing any fee, and you can stop using SafePrint at any time.

We can pause or remove a copy center that breaks these terms, gives false details, or puts customers at risk.

6. Your documents

You keep all rights to your documents. You give us and the copy center only the permission needed to store the encrypted files, deliver them to the copy center's device and print them. You are responsible for having the right to print what you send, and you must not use SafePrint for content that is illegal, such as forged documents, or that infringes someone else's rights.

7. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service: no attempts to break or bypass its security, guess release codes, access other people's orders, overload our systems, copy or reverse engineer the App beyond what the law allows, or register fake copy centers.

8. Privacy and its limits

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we handle. SafePrint keeps your files out of chats, inboxes and shop computers, but once a document is printed it is paper, and a determined person could copy the printout or capture the data sent to a printer. We can't control what happens to the paper.

9. The Service as it is

We work to keep SafePrint running and secure, but the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that a given copy center or printer will be working. Some places don't allow these disclaimers, so they may not all apply to you.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, SafePrint is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the acts of copy centers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including your rights as a consumer.

11. Ending use

You can stop using SafePrint at any time by deleting the App. We can suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms, and we will try to tell you why when we can.

12. Changes

We may update these terms as the Service changes, for example when we add in-app payment or delivery. We will change the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the App before they apply.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim there.
